We’ve got huge plans for 2021 and need someone special to join our family as we prepare to take this pub to the next level (figuratively and physically). We’ve spent the last 7 months finding our feet and now are ready to execute a pub operation that the region has never experienced.
We’re already not like most pubs. We’re proud to say we’ve got one of the worst performing pokie rooms around. We make up for this in spades with our highly successful F&B operation & our thriving entertainment offering (Ya know, like back when pubs & clubs weren’t operated like mini casinos).
We’re also an independent stand alone pub so we don’t have a pencil neck board of accountants & equity fund managers telling us how to suck more money out of the local community and put it in hands of shareholders (cc. Redcape, ALH)
The big one for us is what we serve. We now serve well over 50% of food & beverage that is produced locally. We cherish our relationships with our local producers and have painstakingly put together an offering that pumps money back where it belongs, The Greater Illawarra.
As we continue to grow, we require someone who excels in the fundamentals of pub ops, has a strong customer focus & loves our community. Most importantly, we want to know what makes you spring our of bed in the morning and so we can tailor your role around you.
Staff development is big with us and we now offer on the job traineeships and apprenticeships to the majority of our staff. If you want to develop any area of your professional development, you can rest assured that we’ll get you signed up to a nationally registered vocational training course and support you all the way.
