The Entrance Hotel is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join their core Management Team, reporting directly to and supporting the Licensee with the efficient overseeing of all aspects of hotel operations, including Bar, Gaming, Bottle Shop and Bistro – and there are some exciting renovations due for commencement!

About You

Do you have a valid RSA and RCG?
Are you from a Hospitality background and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within management of a hotel?
Do you have full availability to work a rotating roster (days, nights, weekends)?
Are you able to communicate effectively?
Do have natural customer service skills?
Are you someone who has great energy and immaculate presentation?
Do you have excellent knowledge of alcoholic categories?
Have you managed or supervised a team in a fast-paced hotel environment?
What You Will Need to Succeed

You will have a passion for sport and entertainment, as the new area of the hotel will include a unique sports bar and be an entertainment complex.  You are a ‘hands on’ individual who has a passion for maintaining positive client and customer relationships. You will have experience within hotel environment and will show initiative to take on any duties that come your way by shifting priorities and being extremely flexible.

During opening hours, you will maintain a constant and visible presence in public areas of the hotel and ensure compliance with licensing laws, WHS and company policies and procedures. Ideally, you will have a strong bar focus with a proven track record in driving food and beverage revenue.  You will be responsible for opening and closing procedures (including liaising with Security), staff supervision, cash handling, till reconciliations, stock control and stock takes.

You must have a valid NSW RSA and RCG Certificate and knowledge of TAB & KENO would be beneficial. A knowledge of POS systems is also valuable for the role.

You must be able to work nights and weekends.
